This is a conversion kit to update the standard Defender swan-neck style drop arm to the straight drop arm as used on late Range Rover Classic, and Discovery 1 models.
This kit includes a drag link bar made from 30mm solid 303 stainless steel with full-size lock nuts. 1 left-hand threaded tie rod end, 1 right-hand threaded tie rod end, a left-hand drive steering damper bracket(with mounting hardware), and the straight drop arm.
The tie rod ends provided have been upgraded with polyurethane boots and a stainless steel boot securing clip.
Both ends of the drag link rod have machined flats for ease of tightening the lock nuts to the bar, and the right-hand thread is easily identified with a groove machined around the bar and the lock nut.
*Will fit Defender fitted with 4-bolt or 3-bolt style steering boxes. Will NOT fit 6-bolt power steering boxes or manual steering boxes.
