Land Rover has today announced a new four year sponsorship agreement with both Premier Rugby and the Rugby Football Union. The comprehensive deal includes the launch of a brand new, country-wide grass roots tournament called the Land Rover Premiership Cup which will reach around 40,000 children over the coming four years. Land Rover will once again be supporting The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials as title sponsor from September 4-7, 2008, where it will also be celebrating its milestone anniversary.

Land Rover’s association with Burghley dates back to the 1990s but the relationship was cemented in 2005 when the Company took up the reins as the main sponsor of the Horse Trials. Read more »

Jaguar Land Rover has launched dedicated apprentice websites to help its dealer network recruit a record number of apprentices in 2008/2009.

Jointly, the two iconic British motoring brands already operate one of the largest and most successful apprentice programmes in the UK automotive retail sector. Over the past decade Jaguar Land Rover’s Technical Academy has coached over 1,000 youngsters through its advanced apprenticeship programme, with 95% of participants attaining an NVQ Level 3 in their chosen discipline. Gerry Judah’s largest and most impressive Central Display structure will feature at the 2008 Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 11-13. Positioned directly in front of Goodwood House, the eye-catching 45 metre raw steel rock structure - featuring five Land Rover vehicles (one of each nameplate) and designed in celebration of the company’s 60th anniversary - was unveiled last night by Lord March at the official opening of this year’s event.
