A Blank chassis is a Land Rover factory design that allows you to bolt on the engine mounts of your choice, making it ideal for fueled engine, or electric conversions.. Often called an adaptor chassis, instead of welded on engine mounts it is supplied with welded on mounting plates with tapped holes and bolts for custom engine mounts. The welded on mounting plates are generous in size with 5 attachment bolts per side to accommodate a range of mount locations. OEM manufactured with hot dipped galvanized finish. Replacement for Defender 110 variants with a rear mounted plastic fuel tank. Chassis features the latest Puma updates with reinforced main rails, upgraded bulkhead outriggers and rear cross member with integral fixing nuts for tow plate and recessed mounting point for towing plug. Designed and manufactured by Land Rover to accept multiple types of engines. Instead of welded on motor mounts, this chassis has double plated sections with weld nuts for bolt on motor mounts, making it the perfect choice for all types of engine conversions. Includes bolt-on gearbox cross member, adjustable galvanized rear body mount and Genuine top link bushes with bolts. Made in the UK.
