FITS: Defender all V8 models including NAS with LT85, LT77, LT77S and R380 Gearbox.

 NOTE: Here is a guide to help you identify your Defender gearbox by engine type the gear lever shift pattern -

LT85 Gearbox - 5 speed fitted to V8 only 1985 -1992 with reverse in forward left position ahead of 1st gear                                           

LT77 Gearbox - 5 speed fitted to all 4 cyl. models only from 1984-1992 with reverse forward left position ahead of 1st gear

LT77S Gearbox - 5 speed fitted to all models from 1992-1994 with reverse forward left position ahead of 1st gear

R380 Gearbox -  5 speed fitted to all models from 1995-2006 with reverse in the rearward right position behind 5th gear
