A Blank chassis is a Land Rover factory design that allows you to bolt on the engine mounts of your choice. Often called an adaptor chassis, instead of welded on engine mounts it is supplied with welded on mounting plates with tapped holes and bolts for custom engine mounts. The welded on mounting plates are generous in size with 5 attachment bolts per side to accommodate a range of mount locations. OEM manufactured with hot dipped galvanized finish. Replacement for Defender 90 variants with a rear mounted plastic fuel tank. Also includes side tank mounting points. Chassis features the latest Puma updates with reinforced main rails, upgraded bulkhead outriggers and rear cross member with integral fixing nuts for tow plate and recessed mounting point for towing plug. Includes galvanized bolt-on gearbox cross member and adjustable galvanized rear body mounting bracket. Made in the UK.
