Manufactured as the last suffix Series III chassis, this is the ultimate in Series chassis. Front dumb irons extend along the rails to the #2 crossmember, and some crossmembers are braced for additional rigidity and strength. Check strap brackets, brake pipe brackets, and reinforcing strips are simplified to streamline production and reduce costs.
Chassis comes hot-dipped galvanized with chassis bushes fitted and all holes drilled and tapped UNF after galvanizing.
This chassis includes as standard:
- Removable (bolt-on) gearbox crossmember
- Rear and front right fuel tank mounts
- OEM spring bushes
This chassis is for 4-cylinder 2.25L petrol or diesel Series III 109 station wagon (5 door) models. Twin front fuel tank outriggers, steering damper mount, and power steering mount are available for additional charges. Please contact a sales representative for more information on available options.
