Manufactured as the last suffix Series III chassis, this is the ultimate in Series chassis. Front dumb irons extend along the rails to the #2 crossmember, and some crossmembers are braced for additional rigidity and strength. Check strap brackets, brake pipe brackets, and reinforcing strips are simplified to streamline production and reduce costs.
Chassis comes hot-dipped galvanized with chassis bushes fitted and all holes drilled and tapped UNF after galvanizing.
This chassis includes as standard:
- Removable (bolt-on) gearbox crossmember
- Twin side fuel tank mounts
- OEM spring bushes
This chassis is for 4-cylinder 2.25L petrol or diesel Series III 109 regular truck/pickup (2/3 door) models. Steering damper mount and power steering mount are available for additional charges. Please contact a sales representative for more information on available options.
