This is a direct chassis replacement for your Series late IIA (chassis suffix ending in D-H) 109" station wagon, but with some improvements. By choosing to use some later Series III parts and removing some redundant brackets held over from Series I, Richards has improved the design and streamlined manufacturing, keeping costs down while leaving functionality and fitted appearance of the product unaltered.
Chassis comes hot-dipped galvanized with chassis bushes fitted and all holes drilled and tapped UNF after galvanizing.
This chassis includes as standard:
- Removable (bolt-on) gearbox crossmember
- Rear and front right fuel tank mounts
- OEM spring bushes
This chassis is for 4-cylinder 2.25L petrol or diesel Series late IIA 109 station wagon (5 door) models. Twin front fuel tank mounts, steering damper mount, and power steering mount are available for additional charges. Please contact a sales representative for more information on available options.
Will also fit Series II and early IIA station wagon by upgrading front brake lines to late IIA style.
