Replacement fuel pumps for 1997 NAS Defenders no longer have signal stabilizers, which can create rapid fluctuations of the fuel gauge needle as fuel sloshes around in the tank. This control box will dampen and slow these needle fluctuations so your fuel gauge acts normally, with only mild fluctuations as fuel moves around in the tank. This product is designed and calibrated for 1997 Defender 90 NAS and Japanese spec vehicles only - it will not work in any other application.
