The XD version of our standard Defender hitch. Can be used for towing, but with emphasis on clearance and recovery. Bolts directly onto rear frame member. Will also accommodate a Dixon Bates Military pintle hook secured through the 4 mounting holes above receiver with room to swivel 360 degrees while retaining full use of the Class III receiver.
Maintains a close profile for improved departure angle when off-road. Includes mounting hardware. With a pintle on top and a receiver below, both tight to the rear cross member, you will experience the ultimate over/under hitch for the versatile Defender. Made in the USA
This is the correct hitch for any of our replacement Marsland chassis
Note: It must be bolted directly to the face of the rear crossmember (NOT to the extension block) with the crossbar secured to the bottom with the supplied hardware. Can only be used as a recovery point with a Defender 130.
