Exact reproductions of Land Rover reinforcement top footwell plates in 304 Stainless steel. When Land Rover first began fitting dual circuit power brake systems in 1969 they added these unique top plates with gussets to their bulkheads to give them extra strength and rigidity. Then for some reason they deleted them just 18 months later. After years of custom building them for customers we finally had them volume manufactured in stainless steel for owners determined to build a better bulkhead. Ideal for dual power brake conversions in early Series II-IIA 1959-1968. Can be added to Genuine and reproduction bulkheads for improved strength. They rivet into the interior top of the footwell and have all the appropriate mounting holes pre-drilled. Sold as a pair for LHD. One plate reinforces LH pedal assembly mountings and the second plate reinforces heater matrix and blower mountings. They also look great. Made in the UK

FITS: Series II-IIA all LHD models 1959-1971

NOTE: Variations in bulkheads may require slight modification to bulkhead, or reinforcement panel depending on the repair, or replacement specifics. Will also easily adapt to Series III 4 and 6 cylinder bulkheads by trimming the top of the reinforcement panel.
