NOTE: Two common mistakes to avoid when routing a speedometer cable is allowing it to sag, or bend in the first 4 inches from where it secures to the transfer box and locating it too close to the exhaust pipes. For an accurate speed reading tight turns, or bends in the cable need to be avoided to prevent a bouncing speedometer needle..
