We begin with a Genuine Puma chassis with a hot dipped galvanized finish offering the latest in chassis structural technology from Land Rover. Stronger, with reinforced bulkhead outriggers and body mounts. Safer, with internal gussets throughout for improved crash performance. Includes a galvanized rear fuel tank guard with a top retainer strap and features provisions to bolt on the engine mounts of your choice.
Next, the latest Puma remanufactured axles are fitted. The front axle is equipped with heavy-duty 4-pin differential and CV joints, new vented disc brakes, and features improved caster, and camber angles for reduced tire wear and better handling at highway speeds. The rear axle assembly also features new disc brake assemblies and a new Ashcroft torque bias limited slip differential for improved traction. The steering system features a new LHD Genuine power steering box attached to heavy-duty anodized steering rod assemblies. Locating these assemblies securely onto the chassis are hot dipped galvanized radius arms, trailing links, rear top linkage, and panhard rod with Genuine bushings for long-lasting corrosion-free performance.

NOTE: A Blank chassis is a Land Rover factory design that allows you to bolt on the engine mounts of your choice, making it ideal for fueled engines or electric conversions. Often called an adaptor chassis, instead of welded-on engine mounts it is supplied with welded-on mounting plates with tapped holes and bolts for custom engine mounts. The welded mounting plates are generous in size with 5 attachment bolts per side to accommodate a range of mount locations. This chassis requires a plastic rear fuel tank RNQ661. Flat Pack Chassis assemblies for standard Land Rover engines are also available from Rovers North. Please inquire. RNCK110PT is shipped completely assembled and requires a forklift or similar machine for unloading.
