Defender 2.8 Liter 300 Tdi diesel completely remanufactured engine assembly. Precision built as a complete direct replacement for all 4 cylinder diesel and petrol motors fitted to Left Hand Drive Defenders from 1983 to 1994. Remanufactured to exacting standards. Features all new OEM and/or Genuine cylinder head components, 2.8 piston assemblies, tappet assemblies, 2.8 crankshaft, camshaft, engine bearings, turbo charger, 2.8 injectors, 2.8 injection pump, oil pump, seals and gaskets. Includes new starter motor, vacuum motor, fuel lines, new fuel pump, fan belt, new water pump, new thermostat, new 100 amp alternator and reconditioned flywheel. Includes new power steering pump, clutch assembly and engine mounts. The perfect solution for owners requiring more power and reliability in their early Defender. Improve performance, fuel mileage and increase your Defender's value by keeping it all Land Rover. This 2.8 liter version offers increased displacement for a 20% increase in power over the standard 300Tdi. This engine is air conditioning ready.

FITS: Defender 1983-1994 originally fitted with a 2.5 NA , 2.5 Turbo, 200Tdi diesel, 2.3 and 2.5 petrol engines with LT 77 five speed gearbox. Will only fit LHD vehicles

NOTE: Replacing an early worn motor will most likely require replacing certain fuel system, cooling and exhaust components. For compatible air conditioning system use RNAC300
